Statement on Coronavirus

At this time, the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) 2020 Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology (EB) is scheduled to proceed as planned, April 4-7 at the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC).

Like the general public, we are continually monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) updates. Our ultimate concern is the health and safety of our members, attendees, and colleagues around the world. We are vigilantly monitoring this situation and consulting with our San Diego partners to ensure that the health and safety of our attendees is not compromised.

If you are not able to attend EB, review the cancellation policy and submit a cancellation request online or send your cancellation questions to info@experimentalbiology.org.

Also, if you are an invited speaker or programmed to give an oral presentation for ASIP and you are cancelling your registration, please email the ASIP Meetings Department at meetings@asip.org so we can plan accordingly.

For any other concerns or questions related to the ASIP Annual Meeting at EB, please contact Lisa McFadden at Lmcfadden@asip.org.

How to Get Updates

We encourage you to monitor your emails from ASIP and EB for ongoing updates.

If you do not have a social media account, you may follow the collective EB feed on the EB homepage.

Resources

As a scientific society, the ASIP is guided by factual information, not fear. We are monitoring – and encourage you to do so as well – information from the following agencies, as well as advisories from local governments and public health authorities:
